How do you separate an egg to get egg whites and egg yolk?
When I cook eggs, requires the separation of the egg yolk and egg white, this is a troublesome work, I tried a lot of methods.
Break the egg in half and pour it back and forth between the two shell halves taking care not to break the yolk to seperate it.
I tried letting the egg go into my hands but something went wrong with the fellow fell into the frying pan.
The best way is to crack the egg into your very, very clean hands and let the white trickle out between your fingers into a bowl while holding onto the yolk. Very icky, but it works really well.
If you can't do the half egg shell way, just crack the egg open and pour it into your hand and separate your fingers gently and let the white slide right down.
Hit the egg with the serrated edge of a knife, letting the egg white drip into a bowl, dish etc, keeping the yolk in the shell.
If you are going to need to separate eggs alot in the future you can always buy an egg separator.
If you have a better way, please tell me, thank you!
